Undiluted desire, served straight up.

Justin Morgan would happily drown the pain of his injured leg—and the guilt he brought back from Afghanistan—in bourbon. Except, there won’t be any booze if he doesn’t rescue his family’s century-old distillery from financial ruin. The problem? Allie McGrath—youngest daughter of the distillery’s co-owners, and the one woman he can’t have.

Allie has been in love with Justin since…well, she's always been in love with him. Now he's home, broken up over the death of her brother, and he needs help. She can fix the distillery—she’s sure of it—but no one’s taking her or her sweet new idea seriously. Convincing Justin is her only hope.

Allie is more tempting than Justin expected, threatening a promise he swore he’d never break. If he can’t keep their attraction under control, there’s a solid chance they’ll send the whole enterprise crumbling to the ground…if he doesn’t crash and burn first.

I received a copy of this book, from the publisher, in exchange for an honest review. In no way did this sway either my review or my rating!

Just a quick note before I start the actual review. In my ARC the main character's name is Greg but everywhere else it seems to be Justin. So just a warning in case I accidentally slip and call him Greg. I'm not mixing up books I promise! On with the praise...

I am going to attempt to keep this review completely respectable and family friendly and not go with my gut, which is to drop the f bomb every other second to try to explain the depths of my love for this book. I knew I was reading something that was going to touch me greatly when by 5% I had to set my Kindle aside because my eyes were so full of tears that the words were just a big blurry jumble on the screen. And the thing is those tears were pouring out for a character that I hadn't even met, nor would I ever get to since this book takes place a few years after his death. I knew right then and there that anything that Teri Anne Stanley writes in the future I will read without question or hesitation.

I have this lump of feelings in my chest after finishing Drunk On You. Both good and bad, happy and bittersweet. So many things I felt as I read this book. It would go from my heart breaking one moment to having me laugh so hard my eyes were watering. There was the perfect amount of will they/won't they. Just enough hope sprinkled in with all of the this will never work out.

I think one of my most used adjectives will end up being perfect because the characters were absolutely perfect. They have these really great back stories that I think play out very well. Justin is just so troubled and broken, and yet he could also be absolutely hilarious and charming and sweet. I am so beyond smitten with this character. And Allie is completely adorable. I felt for her so hard at times because she's been in love with Justin since she was old enough to notice boys and he just didn't have the slightest clue. I love her tenacity and her drive. When that girl gets something in her head that she's set on accomplishing, there is no pushing her down. It's as good as done. And I don't just mean in her feelings for Justin, it's in every area of her life. Especially the family business.

Allie and Justin together? Hold on I need to go take a cold shower just thinking about it...It was such a long, simmering and torturous road for them getting together. I swear I thought I was going to burst all the times they would almost hook up and then guilt or a wrong thing was said or misinterpreted. It was such an exquisite torture though. One filled with plenty of me saying yes, yes, yes! Only to be soon followed by nooooooooooo!

The storyline was just perfect too. Dealing with loss and tragedy, unrequited crushes, survivors guilt and just trying to find your place in your own life and learning how to cope.

Bottom line? As if you couldn't tell, I freaking (not the f word I feel like using...) loved this book. I loved the characters, I loved their stories, I loved how they all meshed together and sometimes didn't. It wasn't just a slice of perfection, it was the whole freaking pie! Sigh. Can I just ignore all my other ARCs and go hang out with Justin and Allie again? Hands down probably my favorite book I've read in 2015.

Huge thanks to Entangled Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book!!!
